Try to reformat your ipod which can be found in the itunes menu when you sync your ipod.

I'm pretty sure if you hold the center button for 10 seconds or so that it will reset it to its "Factory Settings". But I'm not sure if it's the center button or a different button. I don't want to try with my iPod though because I have stuff on it. So if that doesn't work I am really sorry! If it is still brand new you can exchange it for a new one.

Try reseting your iPod? Hold in the center button and the play/pause button for at least 10 seconds maybe more and it will reset itself. If not sorry!
