hyundai elantra headlight problems?

My right headlight went off as I was driving at night. I am trying to pinpoint the problem. It can't be a short because the sidelight on my right side is working. Any suggestions?

Update:

It's not the bulbs, they are not blown

Check if the bulb is in working order

Check if there is poor contact along the off-side headlight circuit, especially at the bulb holder itself, if the bulb is in order

Did you change the bulb, even temporarily just to be sure? You can't always see the break. An ohmmeter can check the bulb as well. If it's not a bulb, it's a connection, a fuse or circuit breaker. I don't believe headlights are fused though.

Did you alter the bulb, even quickly just to make certain? you may't constantly see the smash. An ohmmeter can verify the bulb as properly. If that is no longer a bulb, that is a connection, a fuse or circuit breaker. i do no longer think headlights are fused however.

My elantra does the sme thing - uses at least one head light bulb per month.
