i'm FROM PA (born there and lived there for 40 3 years) that's a battleground state ... Now I stay in OH ... yet another battleground state. the place I stay (rural northeast Ohio) I see no longer something yet McCain/Palin signs and indications. actually, my neighbor, an Obama supporter, had her Obama sign stolen basically the former day, whilst each and all the McCain signs and indications are nevertheless there. I stay close to Cleveland, Lorain, and Elyria ... and as you get closer to those cities, the Obama signs and indications truly outnumber those for McCain. I spent maximum of my existence interior the northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, and that i could truly like to be there now. i think that my vote could've made greater of a distinction in PA than it did in OH ... (comparable as in '04) ... save in mind that it is the heavily-populated aspects that have the main impact on which way the state is going ... and which candidate gets each and all the electoral votes. If a candidate does properly in each and all the metropolitan aspects of Pennsylvania, he will carry that state. there is not any way for a candidate to to win a state's electoral vote basically via carrying greater counties ... he has to win the counties that incorporate the heavily-populated cities and suburbs.
