Freeze unused canned biscuit dough?
I have a big can of Pillsbury Grands buttermilk biscuit dough. It makes "8 big biscuits", but there are only 2 of us and lots of other food. Can I freeze unbaked biscuits for another time? Anyone have experience doing this with good results?
Thanks!

yup, put it in a freezer bag AFTER wrapping it in plastic wrap.
I've done it, it keeps just fine.

Yes, I often do. Biscuit dough is quite cheap & easy to make from scratch. Just line the biscuits up on a baking sheet so that they don't quite touch and put the pan in the freezer. Once they have frozen (a couple of hours) you can put them into a ziplock bag or a plastic container. Do be sure to use them within a couple of months. Several other handy things that you can freeze are cookies, pancakes, waffles and French toast. Do the cookies the same way as you would biscuits. If you are making the kind of cookies that you roll out and cut into shapes, do all the rolling and cutting and put the cookies into a hard sided freezer container between sheets of waxed paper. VERY handy at holiday time. Pancakes, waffles and French toast can be done in a similar way. When you are making them anyway, just make a double batch and cook it all. Let them cool, then bag and freeze. Reheat by popping into the toaster. We couldn't live without a stash of these in the freezer for quick real breakfast on busy mornings.

NEVER! You can't freeze biscuits dough, especially that kind of dough. Bake the biscuits first then if you have leftover biscuits, you can freeze them.

I don't think you should freeze them in the can they come in. Try taking them out and wrapping them tightly before freezing.
Good luck!
