Can any one give me some advice?

I had a full hysterectomy about 2 years ago. I had 22 staples from my belly button to the top of my kooter, instead of waiting the full 6weeks weeks to have sex, we had sex 2 days after I got home it hurt like hell. I am 54 and my boyfriend is 26. Anyway now every time we have sex it hurts so bad we've tried every position we can find and nothing helps. Is there any thing I can do at home or should I see a doctor?
