Attach spouse's checking account and/or retirement and 401k?
My wife and I live in Texas. A debt collection has threatened to get a judgment against my wife. They say they can attach my checking account. We each have a checking account, but we have both our names on both accounts. Can they also attach my 401k and retirement if I have it solely in my name?

No normally they would not be able to attach an account not in your wife's name unless they could prove that funds were transferred there to avoid payment of the debt.
