Can Houston do anything in the playoffs?

Obviously T-Mac is out, so he can't carry them. Yao seems to be very fragile. So Houston is left with Ron Artest, Luis Scola, Aaron Brooks, Shane Battier and a decent bench. What do you think Houston will be able to pull off?

Portland doesn't stand a chance against the Rockets..the Blazers only beat them once this season and it was with a game winning shot after the buzzer went off. Brandon Ray cannot do anything agains Ron, nor Battier...Yao Ming will have a field day all game long. Houston's bench is waay too deep for Portland as well. Just my opinion.

A shame that T Mac is out cause I picked Houston or Utah as the surprise coming out of The West. There is no dominant team, winner here. Lakers have struggled last couple of weeks, Denver is so up and down, Spurs have steadily declined and will go down quick in first round, despite injuries, Portland can make noise, but how much, and go how far? I see them doing well in a year or two. Dallas has many inconsistencies. I wouldnt be surprised to see Utah give lakers a big push and perhaps even beat them in 7. Houston, without T mac will need all they have but can still be a big surprise.

coming from a Houston fan, i believe without T-mac we will be better, he drags our offfense down, we should pound down low to Yao, then play like an inside outside game with Artest Brooks and all our 3pt shooters. i trust Rick Adelman as he has improved us a lot. Yao is getting fitter and stronger, and we can get into the 2nd round only due to how stacked the west is... we are doing well this season.. we have a lot of competition. its only a matter of time before we start making conference finals, time plays a big role in any sports team or player..

Most likely they will play New Orleans: 3rd Seed(Houston) and 6th Seed(New Orleans) and I'm definetley riding with New Orleans because it won't be long before one of the star players from Houston gets injured

houston won't be able to do nothing in the playoffs because they will be facing the portland trail blazers and the blazers run a faster and stronger game than the rockets...even with tracy mcgrady back they would still lose
