am looking for anything that talk about black men only way of being successful is being an athlete or being on the entertainment industry. am just doing a project for school i just want something that talk about misrepresentation of black men in the media. hope i could get some help from all of you only serious answer thanks.

There are enough black professionals at work in England for you to find and interview one.
Paul Robeson was more than an entertainer, he was, as is known sympathetic to communism. However you have to realise the generation and time that he lived in. Do try to get his autobiography.
Like it or not however, there are many black people who are underachievers and serve coloured people badly. Like many 'whites' they are not making use of their opportunities and bring nothing but trouble to themselves and everyone else.
It grieves me to see people wasting their life, they become no-hopers and no good to anyone. There is no reason for it in our established society except that it is aggravated by parents with low mentality and not taking on their own responsability. It is a long story with many facets
