Taken a GRE Subject Test?

I'm studying for the GRE in Biology. I wanted to hear from people who have already taken the test:

How similar was the actual test to the practice tests you took?

Do you feel that the study guides prepared you well enough?

I used the Kaplan prep book for Biology, I found it very helpful in terms of the actual GRE test logistics, i.e. how long I should spend on each question, how to prepare for different sections, what general topics I should study and what I needed to brush up on etc...

The practice questions weren't all that similar as I recall to the actual test questions, but they test the same basic general knowledge... I felt that after doing the test prep I would do fine on the test, and I ended up scoring virtually the same that I did on the practice tests.

    Best of luck

to be conscious to grad college, you will virtually consistently ought to take the GRE. faculties will point out in spite of if or no longer they desire you to take particular subject tests or no longer. Taking the subject tests is extra elementary in math/technological information fields than different fields, so this is available which you will ought to. Spend it slow surfing admissions standards for faculties which you have an interest in, and notice what they decide to confirm from applicants.
