Now that the courts have ruled that Al Franken is the leading vote getter?

Will democrats say he was duly elected or that he was selected by the courts?

For Bush: Supreme Court stopped the recount.

For Franken: Franken won every recount, but Coleman dragged it out, the Court stepped in to stop this travesty.

Franken is a comedian, but Coleman is a clown.

Well, considering that Coleman is the one who keeps filing suit challenging the (ever-increasing) lead Franken has over him, I don't see how you can make the case that he was given the election by the courts (like Bush was.)

Coleman's the one who asked for the court's opinion. Remember that.

We felt he was duly elected by the people from the start. The courts have merely confirmed the will of the people.

Funny, just a few years ago the Dems were complaining about not having enough recounts...odd how all of a sudden these votes have been counted enough ; )

EDIT: Figures that libs in here found a way to justify Frankens recounts but opposed Bushs. Typical of the Democrats, everything is always different when it happens to them. Thanks for the laughs, on you.

Assuming you're trying to draw a parallel with Florida in 2000, the courts in Minnesota did not stop a recounts.

This was the case with the US Supreme Court in 2000.

If ever there was a shining example of people getting the government they deserve, it's Al Franken. I wouldn't vote for that doofus for dog catcher.

  • Yes! I am very happy!

    Senator Al Franken!

    *pop* Hannity's head

    *pop* O'Loofah's head

    *pop* Limbaugh's head

    I can't wait!!

They will say he was duly elected. I rather doubt he got the votes he needed.

Bush was elected by the oligarchy of the US like almost all Presidents have in the past. When a third party candidate is given as much air time as the repugnicans and democrips then you tell me who is FREELY ELECTED.

Its not over with yet, Coleman is going take it to the State Supreme Court, I don't blame him, ALL of the votes have NOT been counted

Franken is a comedian, but Obama is a clown.
