Can you still have apps from the Apps Store (apple apps) on a jailbroken ipod touch 2g?
i bought apps, but I'd like to jailbreak my ipod now..do the applications that i already have, stay on my ipod/able to be installed on it?

no, but they stay in itunes so after you have jail broken, just sync and your apps will be back! however, you will lose all of your saved data in the apps and will have to start them all over again.

Wait! please dont follow their advice, for it is outdated. With the method on my website http://technomac.tk/ (click on "2g jailbreak"), you will not loose any saved data on your apps because they will stay on your ipod. This is the newest way to jb your ipod 2g and is called a nor flash. It only changes your system (firmware) files.

the ones you have will go away but you can sync them right back on go to the link below to jailbreak it its my website and you can get apps from the app store and itunes still works its all cool
