I still need time to research the tax breaks for having bought a house this year (I bought in January).
What is the best way to file for an extension?
And can I do it online?

Check with the IRS site, and download the form.
You still need to file and pay what you THINK you owe for taxes. The extension is only for FILING... not PAYING...
