Bucca DiBeppo (while a chain) offers a variety of family style food and lots of interesting things to look at - plus a tour through the kitchen or you can reserve to eat at the kitchen table.

White Fence Farm is a good family friendly place - with their own chickens, peacocks, and other barn animals plus a horse drawn a carriage ride and lots of space to run around outside. It's a family owned place that service fried chicken and other "comfort food" family style.

is the Trail Dust Steakhouse still there? With a HUGE indoor slide for the kids to play on while the adults chat, it's a great informal place to go.
