Is there anything I can apply to a pastel drawing to keep it in good condition?
I am painting a drawing on a wooden cabinet for a teacher at my school, and I was thinking about using pastels on it... I haven't worked with pastels much, though. Is there something you can spray on it that will let the image look fine, but will keep the color from smudging or coming off?

You can buy a can of spray fixative at any art store. This prevents smudging.
