help my cell phone got really really hot, so i turned if off?

and it stayed hot until i took out the battery, anyone know what is going on???

    Does it stay on the charger a lot? Sometimes it can lead to defective batteries or they will get hot and even die much sooner than normal. I used to have to keep my cellphone on charger because the battery was messed up from always having to charge it and even then it would always be hot. I just bought a new battery and it was fine. Tried not to use it so much.

    its prolly staying on too much.

    try to turn it off every once in a while.
