Where can you get a solar panel and what type should I get?

I would like to get solar panels for my house. What type should I get? Also where should I shop from? Is there one kind that is better than others? Does the government have any rebates for making a switch?

The source has some pretty good information. And they will sell you the equipment.

There's many types of panels. You can check out http://www.findsolar.com/ for prices and a certified solar in your area. There's also a place on there for all the rebates your state offers. You can also check out this company. http://www.jointhesolution.com/energyfromthesun

They rent solar panels. There's no upfront cost, no maintenance fees, and no rate increases for the life of your contract. You pay for it just like your utility the difference is your bill would be equal to what your paying now and that would be locked in for up to 25 years.

The best way to get educated quickly on what is involved would be to contact a solar installer in your area for a free quote. The installer can tell you about the financials, including government rebates.

Most people are ultimately interested in saving money, and solar makes financial sense in some areas, but does not make sense in others.

It is possible to do-it-yourself, but far more difficult and expensive than internet scams would lead you to believe. You can check http://www.nlcpr.com/Deceptions6.php for details.

If you are seriously interested in doing it yourself, first learn the technology thoroughly. It is not so simple as taking a recommendation from someone on Y!A on what to get, you must understand your your energy needs and the features of various equipment to decide for yourself. Once you understand the underlying technology, you will pretty much know what you want, and can shop for it.
