It can be any number of things, the best thing to do is check your set up and make sure your club is level with the ground. Many times golfers will stand too close to the ball raising the heel of the club which will cause a toe strike sending the ball in a slice. Or the opposite standing to far away. You need to be sure your swing is sound first of all and that will help you find any flaws when they creep up. I try and keep the ball under my front eye with a narrower stance than with a driver and keep my front elbow straight, my back swing starts slow and smooth to the inside around my body and when I start my downswing it's with my hips not my hands. You can get the book by Ben Hogan "THE 5 Fundamentals of the modern golf swing" it has been read by every pro on tour including Tiger, I found it very helpful. Good luck

Most likely swinging to hard, ie@100 percent swing speed at or just before contact. This will cause most people to have a outside (at the top) to an inside (through impact) swing, remember it is very difficult to accelerate through the ball if you are already at 100 percent.
It may also be improper club fitting, make sure the club lies fairly flat, you should be able to slide a dime a little under the toe as the club is resting with a proper stance and grip.
If it is the first, try going to the range and without taking a back swing, with a 7 iron and pull through the ball down the target line, then a few with a back swing to your shin, then a little further, you get the idea.
Remember golf is about a lot more than a score.

simple.. on the practice range, try swinging the club way right of the target.. this drill helps you close the club face through the impact.. i can almost guarantee that you'll start hitting baby draws..
