I think this kid deserves a medal what do you people think? - link provided?

It say's he has Asperger's Syndrome, like myself, and that he rode 600 miles away from home and was missing for two days untill found on CCTV!
I think this kid is amazing!
His mum should be proud to have a son with Asperger's =D
At least... that is what I think =D
What about you lot?
www.CyberCrimeOps.COM: again another misconception about Asperger's: Asperger's is NOT an illness nor a "medical" condition but something that slows people, who have the syndrome, down when they are either socialising or trying to cope with the homework.
And the thing about "tax-payers" money? You are correct.
He should technically have said he was going cyclng for that long first I agree, but I still say he deserves a medal for being brave and for doing something he likes, which is cycling =D

regardless of medical condition now days anybody that gets out and rides that far should get a medal for not being a lazy whining slob like the majority of ppl.

I don't think he deserves a medal at all. He deserves punishment for his behavior. Taking off, basically what we would call running away from home, deserves no medal. His mother enabled this by paying his way by filling up his bank account.
I suppose you are the type that likes all the little kidlettes that show up to play a sport - regardless of ability - to get participation trophies.
No thank you. A medal is for heroic actions or performances.

Despite the illness he didn't tell anyone where he was going.
A medal is certainly NOT deserved for causing tax payers to fork out for a man-hunt, and to put his family through so much anguish.

Let me rephrase so there is NO problem understanting English.
The guy is a bone-head and deserves a good slap.

He went missing for 2 weeks. He would definately deserve a medal if he had done 600miles in 2 days.
