I'm a left-handed pitcher and have a question about this pitch-?
I tried to throw a screwball, and it broke more left to right from my hand like a reverse slider. Should there be a new name for this pitch?
A screwball has a similar back movement to a sharp 11 to 5 or 6 curveball, this broke like a nine to 5 slider...

If you are a lefty and it broke from left to right that would either be a cut fastball or a slider. A reverse slider is a screwball.

some people call that a forkball, but it depends how your fingers were placed. but thats cool that you even can throw that, because it a very difficult pitch to throw
