How do you manually empty the clipboard? I can't find it, and...?
It will let me copy and paste pictures, but if I even highlight one letter and try to paste it, it says there is too much in it to paste. Anyone know how to fix this?

Copy a bit of text to replace what was previously in the clipboard. It sounds like the text you think you're copying is actually copying something else... please give more details as to the text you think you're copying, is it from a web page? if so please give the url and say what text it is you're trying to copy.
One thing to try actually, is try pasting the text into notepad, it should strip away anything else, leaving just the text. From there, copy it and past it as you were going to

open up your task pane. (look under view) then find clipboard, and hit clear or just delete everything
