Judge based on political party rather than answer question?

I give thumbs up to content that is well thought out and sticks to the facts. The only time I give thumbs down is to posts which do nothing more than attack individuals or groups. I couldn't care less what your politics are or what political party you claim affiliation with. However, I often receive thumbs down on even the most basic answers which state an undisputed fact. So there is probably merit in what you are suggesting here.

I tend to agree for the most part you are able to see what is going on when you answer a question then go back to see what the others have said. I seldom give thumbs down, but do give thumbs up to answers I agree with, and many have been from people that I know do not lean the same way politically as I do, but their answers were correct in my view.

It is very hard to be objective while answering political questions. I see this very society as being responsible for the never-ending string of genocides, that are inflicted upon my own race by members of my own race, at the say of politicians who are nearly always found to be acting on the events that both we and they have been deceived about.

The one genuine path of hope that we have, is now so ridiculed - by the very few people who benefit from this "insane" economic system, via their mass media system - that the majority of people actually support an economic system that will inevitably shorten their life and make the last years no better than misery.

We are lied to, we are deceived, we are cheated and then we are killed off. Either you don't know how this awful society works, and you support it, or you do know how this awful society works and you're alienated, ridiculed, insulted and your intelligence questioned by the very Media system that ensures that almost nobody ever works out what we're having done to us.

It is hard to be objective with political questions.

I give thumbs up when answers are not harmful or full of hate, when they actually answer the question, and when they make sense. Only rarely can I give a thumbs up to a liberal's answer, and I would like to do that more, but it hasn't turned out that way.

Yea, that is bad but far worse is the extremists on both sides who are using "Violations" as a weapon to silence opposing viewpoints.
