Try again when/if it flowers....but based on your photo I would say Tradescantia..a.k.a Spiderwort. This plant likes partial shade, and self-seeds freely, which means you will have many in a year or so if I am correct. Flowers have 3 petals in shades of white/purple/pink. Also known as Widow's Tears.
