IRL fans, What do you think of this?

it will be cool to see an intersting INDY 500 again

I think PT racing again(Indy 500) will do nothing but help the Indy-car series. He will provide a much needed boost to the series not that the Indy 500 needs it.

BTW: Im tickled for Helio. You gotta love the guy's energy he brings to Indy-car series. I know your pretty dang happy. I think I read that he is racing this weekend out your way at Long Beach. Your not going to be looking for him are you? LOL Have fun!

I can't stand PT but the grumpy old bastard can drive and he's good for competition. I wish he could get more seat time in the series.... In football I like the Dallas Cowboys......JUST SO I CAN ROOT AGAINST THEM!!!...same with PT...

I'm excited....I'm glad to see the good drivers getting to race, I wish Sam Hornish and AJ Allmandinger( who's struggling for sponsorship now in NASCAR) would come back to open wheel..

I wish I was you and working the race this weekend. Have a great time, I'll watch on TV ....The coolest thing to me is that Penske realizes the potential of Will Power and is throwing the #12 Verizon car in the race for Power to drive...just for that I'm rooting for Penske all the way...

We have two tires, we have talks about multiple engines again, it will take time but things are going in the right direction. The CCWS guys have proven to be just as good, their teams are a big influence for more tires and motors, everybody will win here...guys like Masta Baiter need to just chill out and let his guys meld into the ONLY OWR series left other than F1....(which is like a political campaign these days )

I was a fan of both but the IRL (For monetary reasons...*INDY*...won)

We are lucky to have ANY OWR in this economy and like I said

I'm excited for the rest of the season.

i'm a NASCAR fan, yet while's the final time that there became right into a sellout? Bristol is with regard to the only race that sells out. Daytona does not even get offered out. yet besides, that's solid for the IRL to get a sellout.

I will be glad to see Paul back in an Indy car.

He's a pretty good driver and has a fair amount of common sense.

I think it's great. Been a while since PT has been in a car.

I'm rooting for the famous #43 being driven by John Andretti.

I'm not a huge fan of his, but I think it would be cool to see him drive in the Indy 500 again. It'll defiantly make the race more interesting. =)

At his press conference today, he was asked if he was going to go to 'rookie orientation'

His answer - "Why would an Indy Champion have to go to rookie orientation?" However, I doubt that little soundbite won't be on the news at 11:00.............

Over the years, he has been a Grade A ******. But his current wife has mellowed him out some - either that he knows that his career is coming to an end sooner rather than later.

It was cool hanging with PT, Jimmy, Papis, Oriol, Tags and others today. It is too bad that a series as great as CART will never be back...........

I have never been a PT fan, but it's nice to see another successful driver have a ride (even if it is one race).
