Johnny Cash vs. Waylon Jennings?

Question

Out of Johnny Cash, or Waylon Jennings, which one do you like more. And why? (i know cash has had more media attention in recent years, so if you don't know waylon, don't say johnny because he's the only person you've heard of).

Johnny is a great country legend but I like Waylon better. I guess it was because of his work as part of the Highwaymen and his duets with Willie.

Johnny Cash just because I think he is better, but I do love Waylon's work on Mick Jaggers movie New Kelly the old movie not the new one. But my two favorite country singers are Johnny Horton, and David Alan Coe.

Waylon. Not even close. Cash was a great one, but Waylon was the one that broke the mold. Johnny would pick Waylon too.

Well, this is much more difficult to answer than your Loretta vs. Taylor question. I love both Cash and Waylon so I'm afraid I can't choose a "best" on this one.

Johnny.  Simple reason:  My parents had more of his records when I was little.  I think Waylon was a better singer, though.

...Grew up with Johnny Cash but Waylons's s tyle of "Outlaw" music is what I like better.
