This is not how you do a case study. Go to your library and ask the librarian to direct you to some authoritative sources. Ask about "subscription databases." In particular, there's one called CQ Researcher that I know has a lot of good info on both sides of the global warming debate. These databases are paid for by libraries and are part of the "invisible web." You cannot get them via a Google search.

Edit: The two answers above mine are perfect examples of what I'm talking about. Free thinker doesn't like Al Gore but provides you with no links to any sources to back up

There are also books on the subject, including Al Gore's "Earth in the Balance." Also check out his documentary, "An Inconvenient Truth." Be sure to get information from the other side of the argument as well, because not all scientists agree with Gore's position.

Again, a librarian can help you with this. You can't use half-baked opinions on YA as sources.

Edit: The two answers above me illustrate exactly what I'm saying. Free thinker doesn't like Al Gore but provides no links to any sources.

Sinnerstar provides information about climate change, but, again, you can't use this in a paper. You need some valid sources and data.

Mo Fayed, you're way off base. Please provide some evidence of your ridiculous statement.

Mostly, yes it is man-made. Global warming is caused by increase of greenhouse gases. When carbon dioxide is added to the air, it makes the amount of greenhouse gases larger. The greenhouse gases cause the greenhouse effect, which is when these gases absorb the sun's energy to warm the earth. A car's exhaust releases carbon dioxide into the air, causing the increase to what we already have. Global warming can cause a change in the climate everywhere. It can cause hurricanes, earthquakes, tornadoes, flooding, and more.

AGW is a Mann made proposition with no truth behind it,

    "ICE HOUSE or HOT HOUSE?

During the last 2 billion years the Earth's climate has alternated between a frigid "Ice House", like today's world, and a steaming "Hot House", like the world of the dinosaurs.

This chart shows how global climate has changed through time."

Although Global warming is mostly man made it is (believe it or not) also made by animals mostly Cows as they... let of gas into the atmosphere it is quite surprising how much it can help along global warming. I also heard that plants can have the same affect; you would have to check on that one though.

As witnessed by the shrinking of Mars' polar cap, global warming is not confined to only Earth. Likely a shift on the Sun's temperature is the culprit although, mankind's efforts on our own planet have likely accelerated the increase here.

Yes it is man-made. The amount of carbon (greenhouse gas) in our atmosphere is directly attributable to the amount of carbon we're putting out daily in the form of cars, factories, etc.

The levels of carbon are high and getting higher. There is no natural phenomenon for this. The more we put into the atmosphere, the worse global warming (better known as global climate change) will get.

And, contrary to popular belief, global warming doesn't just make everywhere on the planet warmer. It causes global climate change, in that places that aren't deserts could become deserts; places that normally have mild winters have destructive and frigid winters, etc. It upsets our weather patterns, not just increase temperature.

global warming is man-made, sorry. :[

it's the smog from our cars and smoke from our factories that are going into the air and causing global warming.

luckily, we are now trying to do something about it.

It's not totally man's fault. I'd like to think it's a balance between man and his surroundings. The main cause, however, is exploiting resources which are available to man. The earth is growing older and older, though. It could also be a reason why the earth can't sustain us as good as it did back then.

Global warming is a farce to get revenue for big government. Al Gore is a warped puppy and is lining his pockets with it while he fills America's minds with his lies!
