Oh Woe is me! What to do about those nasty pirates!?

Question

Frankly, I believe that if these pirates were treated exactly the same as England treated pirates in the 17 and 1800's, the problem would be solved quickly!  I really don't care whether they are "skinny little malnourished teens" or fat waddling adults!  A quick hanging by the neck until they are dead, would be a great deterrent to others who would take up the proverbial skull and cross bones!

we could easily solve this problem w/ the warships already there.  if the world doesn't like it so what... not like they're gonna do anything about it, if they were then we'd have seen something from the korean missile launch.

You just don't understand,  The pirates need more education.  
They should be caught and brought to England where they could be given citizenship and sent to school and then a pension for life where they would be good.. LOL..

I say shoot them out of the water..which is what they did in the 1800s or walk the plank..

Why should governments be responsible for protecting against these attacks? The only government responsible is the Somalis. The ships being hijacked are the private property of very rich people, they should be responsible for supplying their own protection. 
That or let the UN handle it with a verrrrry stern letter.

The ones trying to hijack the Maersk Alabama and holding the Captain got exactly what they deserved.

well we have Air Marshalls for planes, we need something of the sort for boats. 
This would be a decent type of job for Blackwater or what ever their name is these days.
