Before you finalise on the syllabus; you will have to ask yourself the following questions....
1] If your aim is IIT/AIEEE, then I suggest you change from CBSE
2] CBSE syllabus, despite offering better quality, doesn't really help you in any practical manner [success rate from students other than CBSE getting higher ranks/grades]
A boy of 85% calibre in CBSE can score 90+% if he can opt other syllabus.
Further, job opportunities don't depend on your syllabus but SKILL.

I think you should continue with your cbse board because, i agree it will be easier for you in the state level but the hard work which is needed for cbse will be gone after a while and then when you get to college it will be harder for you to score good marks, whereas if you continue it will be a lot easier in the future. so don't take this step to make today better because it will destroy your future.
83% is excellent

CBSE is greater suited than any state Board for 2 motives. certainly one of path is high quality. i'm able to vouch for it from my very own experience. Secondly, it has acceptability throughout India. in case you're transferred out of a state, new state's board will insist on you falling consistent with its curriculum that would comprise close by language additionally. Maharashtra has been unsuccessfully attempting to tension CBSE faculties in state to instruct Marathi as a issue.
