When you pre-order something, do you get it the day it comes out in stores?

I want to pre-order the Sims 3, but I want to find it in my mailbox the day it's on shelves. Will I have to wait a couple of extra days to play it if I were to pre-order it? Is driving down the store easier? Help!

It depends on how much you pay up for it. If you just reserve the purchase, then you will get it on the regular release date, but you will get it for sure. If you pay for more than normal, then you will get it before normal release date.

It might depend on who/where you pre-ordered it from. If you ordered it from their website then you might even get it before it comes out in stores. If not then you probably will get it the day it comes out.

if you pre order priority. so if u payed more than the game cost, than yes you will get it on teh day it comes out 

if not, no, you will get it when the next shipment comes in
