I need help on an idea for a satire?
For english we have to write a satire in a play format, like a script.
I think ive got an idea, but when i get down to write, NOTHING COMES OT MIND!
AHHH and the rough draft is due tomorrow, i'm so screwed. Please help ahhhh.
Ive got the idea of satirizing Christmas, but i don't really know how to make a plot out of that. I've got a sweet boy who is very naive, and a caring mother who is not actually happy with her marriage. I was thinking maybe the mother would leave the family on christmas day, but that doesn't seem very ironic, just sad.
IDEAS.

You could satire people's obsessions with hollywood stars' personal lives. This is almost too easy... because people really do go overboard. To the point where on Yahoo news the story about madonna falling off a horse is right next to the story about NATO finding 7 pirate ships.

You could do the same thing with Mother's day...how we still honor "all mothers" when some are just not worthy of the day.
