Problem with BMW CD Multichanger?
I have a BMW 318 CI, and the Multi changer appears to be stuck. It was reading 'No cartridge' at first but now doesn't recognise it at all...... And it won't eject although it makes a little noise when I press the button. Does anyone know how to get it out (short of taking a mell hammer to the flaming thing!) ??

If you remove the changer from the car and take the outer cover off it you'll see the cartridge sitting with possibly a disc half in or out. Either push the disc back into the cartridge or remove it fully. Look to the side of the cartridge and you should see a small rubber drive belt leading to a cog/wheel, if you turn this it should raise the cartridge up and out...
