Try Woman of Honor. It's fantasy romance, about a girl who wants to become a knight.

well have you read the host by stephanie meyer? i'm guessing you did! haha another great author is dean koontz... a few of his best books are fear nothing, the watchers and intensity. to kill a mocking bird is obviously a brilliant classic if you havent read it. hope this helps :)
