Name of book. In the Early 60's I read a Children's book in?
It was about a little girl witch that stayed with an average family and eventually ended up taking everyone name in the family as her name. The fathers name was George I believe.
It was the first book I ever read that when I looked up from it I didn't know how much time had passed or if we had even gone to lunch yet.
(back then if you lived within 1/4 mile of school you went home for lunch )

Could be "The Witch Family" by Eleanor Estes. A little witch and regular girl change places on Halloween.
