I think you are confusing sking color with descendency, not all american are white, we are all from different descendants and cultures, there are no full blooded people anymore, unless of course you are like 300 years old.

but why is it important anyway? If you are worried about skin color just date whoever white, brown or black,or yellow or pink as long as is the kind skin you like and the family as well, what do you care?

No, it actually isn't. Unless the Mexican girl was another race, it isn't interracial. Mexican and Jewish are commonly mistaken as races. Neither of them even fall under the same category.

For example, i am Argentine of Spaniard and Portuguese descent. Therefore, i am classed as Latina ethnically, but White racially. If i were to date a White American guy it would not be an interracial relationship (at least in my eyes) because we are both of European descent and are 'White.'

It really depands on how the mexican guy looks..I've seen some mexicans that look mostly spanish but also other that look mostly native americans & some other look mixed.
