I would only put concealer on your lips if your lips are discolored somehow. If they are white and flaky (like you have skin falling off), then concealer will not help that. Concealer cannot help a texture problem in the skin, but it's job is to help with discoloration. So, if what you mean by bruised lips is discolored lips, then here is what I would do.

    1. Gently exfoliate the lips with a warm, wet washcloth. Don't rub too hard, just gently rub circles on your lips for 45 seconds or so.

    2. Apply a very very thin layer of concealer to the entire lip. You do not want to apply too much concealer, doing so will cause it to crease and you'll look very funny.

    3. Apply a berry toned lip liner. First just apply the lip liner around the natural border of your lips, then fill in your entire lips softly. Make sure to blend so that your lips look all the same color. The berry shade will help to make your lips look all the same color.

    4. If you wish, you could add a lipstick here. Preferably one that matches the lip liner.

    5. Apply a clear lipgloss as a topcoat. This will pull the whole look together.

Don't apply foundation to your lips. Concealer, as long as it's a small amount, is fine, but foundation will be too much.

If your lips are red there's lots of white flaky skin, don't apply any color to the lips. Try this instead before bed:

    1. Hold a warm-to-hot wet washcloth on your lips for 5 minutes or so. This will soften all the dead skin and make it easier to remove.

    2. Exfoliate your lips by using that warm, wet washcloth. Gently rub small circles on your lips for no more than 90 seconds. This will help the excess skin to slough off.

    3. Slather your lips with an emollient, such as carmex, vaseline, or aquaphor. Don't put so much it feels uncomfortable, just slightly more than you'd wear out in public. This will seal in moisture and hydrate the lips.

    4. Then, at school tomorrow, just keep your favorite lip balm with you. Apply liberally as needed. This will keep the lips nice and hydrated.

If you repeat this for a few nights, your lips should be looking great. :)

    Good luck!

You can apply concealer to your lips, although you might find it to be drying. Its also going to give you nude lips, so that may not be what you are looking for. In the meantime use concealer or lipstick just to cover your lips. To solve the problem I recommend trying the medicated version of Blistex, it comes in a white tube and it will help you out. I got really sunburned and swollen lips in the summer, and the pain, swelling and blistering went away overnight.

do not put it on your lips...you'll look like a zombie. try just putting concealer around your lips, but dont overdo it because people can tell. as for your lips, I can just suggest wearing some sort of lip color.

use a really good chapstick then put on some concealer and then some lipstick

lipgloss won't work because some of them their coverage isn't that good
