NHL to NBA analogies?
Since the NHL playoffs are right now going on at the same time as the NBA playoffs, I thought it would be kind of cool for us to have some player analogies, of a player in the NHL and who he'd be in the NBA.
Here are some from me, all players from the hometown Washington Capitals.
Alex Ovechkin - His NBA equivalent is LeBron James. He's physical, a monster scorer, and also a great passer.
Alex Semin - Caron Butler, another great scorer.
Niklas Backstrom - Steve Nash, the assist man of the Caps
Donald Brashear - Historically, Bill Laimbeer for sure, but today, probably Rasheed Wallace is as close as I could get since he fights almost every game.
No one watches hockey in this section besides two people? The Caps could win the Stanley Cup this year and they're the NHL equivalent of the Cleveland Cavaliers!
