Should I feel guilty?
A bird built a nest on our gutter. The was causing some minor problems, but could have eventually caused serious problems with the gutter. I tried to move the nest, but as I did, I lost my balance and the nest come tumbling down.
Three or four little eggs fell and broke on the ground. I was so sad, because though it just looks like the inside of a regular egg now, they would have been baby birds!
I feel so guilty that I killed this little baby birds even before they had a chance. I didn't mean to, I just wanted to avoid problems with my gutters, and possible flooding, damage....so forth.
I feel really, really bad.

no, dont feel bad. by the way you talk, i can tell you love animals and that you really didnt mean to knock it over. and if you didnt move it and there was a flood, more than just one nest would be knocked over. its not your fault

you killed a bird, this is not a very nice thing to do. a bird may just be a bird but it is a living thing that God created. you did not throw the nest down however, you just dropped it. if you did not move the nest, it would have ruined your gutter eventually. if it were a human, you would not be charged with murder because you killed it on accident. you should not feel guilty, but you should be more careful.

its sad yes
but you tried to save it
and having to pay for all the work that would have come with the gutter problems isnt worth leaving the mest there
