Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows?
Ok I was just recently watching the first movie again for probably the millionth time and a question popped into my head. In the Deathly Hallows when the teachers and students were fighting to save themselves and Hogwarts, the teachers set various things in the castle on the death eaters like the suits of armor and or course Peevis (sp?). My question is why didn't they set loose Fluffy? Or was it no longer there?
Fluffy was the big 3 headed dog. Fang, Hagrid's Boar hound ws following him around during the battle not Fluffy. Fluffy hasn't been mentioned since it was guarding the tap door in book one

I’m not sure how different the movies are but I have read all the books and in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone Hagrid set Fluffy free in the Forbidden Forest. I don't remember reading about him since.

After the Philosopher's Stone was removed of its properties there was no need of Fuffy to be present in Hogwarts. He probably was moved over to some other place.
Even if he was still at Hogwarts, he would have attacked everyone imminent - including the Hogwartians. That is probably why they did not set him loose.
