Why does my "Top Contributor" button keep disappearing?
I'd like to think that it has nothing to do with my belief that Global Warming is a scam or that Barak Obama is extremely weak and ignorant of foreign policy....

Unfortunately, you need to maintain the Top Contributor status. If you don't get a certain amount of best answers in a given time period, it will disappear :(

No it has nothing to do with the way you believe. I don't see anything wrong with the way you believe. You have to answer a quota of questions and get a certain % of best answers in a certain category each week in order to keep you TC badge. Hope this helps!!!

It's not something you get to keep without working to keep it. You have to have a certain number of answers in a single category to earn it, and continue to have that same number each week to keep it.
