Why don't they sell cans of soda in variety packs?

Back in the 60s they did. I remember seeing Crush having variety packs of Lemon Lime, Grape, Orange and Root Beer.

Coca-Cola had variety packs of Fanta products and I think Pepsi had Mountain Dew, Orange, Grape and something else packs. RC Cola had variety packs too. So it's not a new idea, the demand for it's not there and it's cheaper to get a dozen of all one kind. Another thing, in many ways we were better at recycling back then than we are now. All the ladies used to take their own shopping bags back then and if you got something in a bag, it was a paper bag, much more environmentally friendly. Plastics are the scourge of the Earth. Now you can buy bags to be reused from the stores.

As they say...history repeats itself.

Life was simpler then and much more fun. I remember the bush parties well. We have a lot of good things now but it would be good to bring some things back. Mainly for the sake of our environment.

They would reduce sales as a whole . The variety packs would sell great , but the industry would take a hit . You wouldn't buy two 12 pack , Instead you would get one 12 pack of variety . That equals loss of one 12 pack .

You are so right - why don't they? It is so much easier

But then again, they probably have the stuff separate so that way people need to buy more packs and therefore the company makes more money

I prefer Pepsi... so I wonder how many different kinds of pepsi there are... in Oz there's like 3-5 lol (Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Pepsi Light...)

cause most people have a fave, and don't like many different kinds especially from the same brand...
