The moon early in the morning?

Anyone notice how close the moon looked this morning to Venus?

    I read something yesterday on Yahoo news that this would happen. Didn't see it though.

    The two objects are particularly close this morning. From some areas of the western USA and Canada, the Moon will pass in front of Venus.

    don't worry, there will be lots of other opportunities for this nice appearance

    and it will always be with a crescent moon (because venus is always closely to the sun, so only a crescent moon can do the same)
