what is apple safari?

I just downloaded the latest software for itunes, and It also downloaded safari. from what I understand its just another web browser (like firefox, Internet explorer), right? So i can un-install it and it will not effect itunes?

    Yes, You can uninstall it, It will not effect your itunes

    Yes apple safari is a web browser. You can just uninstall it and it will not effect itunes.
