iPod Nano Help. Please?

So I bought a Nano around Christmas, and until recently I have been completely pleased with the performance. But recently I have been having some problems.

Occasionally when it is playing music, it will freeze up. The music still runs as normal, but none of the controls do anything.

I cannot figure out what the trigger is for the freeze, but I have not come up with anything. I also have not found a way to fix it. It lasts for a couple (~30) seconds it starts working again, and any buttons I have touched while it was frozen fire now. So if I hit the Play/Pause button twice, and the Next Track button once, it will skip to the next song, pause, and then play, almost simultaneously.

Can anyone help me with this problem? Thanks.

well i had one and it did the same thing. one way to fix it temporarily is to slide the hold button on and then turn it off. press the up button and the center button simultaneously. after about 10 seconds, an apple will come on and it will reset your nano but don't worry, your music will still be on there. :)
