If you have a modern operating system like Windows XP or Vista, then you already have a good backup program at your disposal, Windows Backup.

It is a very flexible backup solution that can do anything from backing up individual files and folders, to create an Automated System Recovery backup that can restore your PC after a crash.

You can find this awesome utility on the Start Menu > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Backup. It has a very nice built-in Help tool and a plethora of Wizards to get you started. You can even set up a schedule to automate the process.

That relies upon. do you decide on to create an finished "Disk image" or in straightforward words your human being files??? What media do you intend to "Sync" to: rigidity C:, yet another partition, an exterior demanding rigidity, CD, DVD, the internet or Flash rigidity? For domicile or organisation? If own files, those apps are exceptional: DriveImageXML or Karen's Replicator Google for them. TIP: you shouldn't want any application, in case you manually replica all of your human being files to CD / DVD on a daily basis (Drag & Drop). that is the most sturdy approach.
