Advertising Poll: Do you find the Burger King King tv ads more entertaining or disturbing?

I haven't looked at your link yet, but seen one this morning about boxass that disturbed me greatly.. I ralphed in my mouth.

"Sponge Bob I wanna git wit ya" *full body shudder*

It's unanimous and I felt that way the first time I saw it. It's utterly bizarre that the ad with a "small Mexican" character was pulled from Spain ads but THIS is out and staying?!?!?!

The King ads have always disturbed me, but this one went too far. It became a Pop-Icon thing to have the "Creepy King Guy." He was in jokes and even a Halloween costume (I question Target's buyers.) Some of the ads had a serial killer essence about them. If I saw that big plastic smiling creature first thing when I woke up, I would scream and run. But this is an ad for kids, it's wrong. I'm very casual about most things, but when it comes to kids, there are just some things that should NOT be done.

Ok, I'll step off my soapbox now.

*As a side note, I've studied many "unusual" things myself. Try finding another kid who at age 10 had most of the Black Dahlia case memorized. And didn't become a psychotic mess. (No matter what people say about me!) ;P

Very disturbing. Especially the one where he does a drive-by and slaughters Ronald McDonald.

That Burger King is a freak from McFreakville.

It is simply a COMMERCIAL...and in response to the other lady up there yes I have had a friend ran over and killed, but this ad is fantasy. Just like movies, videos games,and the like are FANTASIES. If you do not like it turn the channel and forget it. I am rather shocked at your annoyance of a commercial.

They are just WRONG, wra, wrong, wrong! All of them are Creepy!

People are split right down the middle on this one. The first article I read, the majority of the comments below it were from women saying that if everyone watched Sponge Bob they would find it funny. Today, though, all I could find was negative comments.

The old ads cracked me up. The people who are responsible for the new commercials should all be canned. They really took it in the wrong direction.

Ewwwww. That's a creepy ad. The new "King" is particularly creepy. The whole square butt thing is disturbing.

I'm still old fashioned enough to find it disturbing that this is used to advertise kids toys at BK.

Come on kids, you know you want to get with that square butt!

I LOVE that commercial! That Burger King guy looks like someone we know & we just laugh when it comes on!
