my friend wont stop talking about random stuff?

Question

what i mean is that she got a job at dune adventure play area in like november and at college all see says is (not there real names) tom, dick and harry did this it was so funny you just had to be there and in my head i keep thinking well i wasn't there. The people at her work are basically a bunch of freaks like i am not trying to be horrible but they really are. There wierd. Anyway she will just talk for like ages about what happened at work and i really dont care. I feel shocking for saying shut up i dont care ? she also repeats her self and that is annoying. 
any ideas how to shut my friend up 
we are both girls and every1 know's how girl love to gossip 
and shes my best friend   
i hang around with loads of people out side of college (who i went to school with) on different days and if she comes up n say so that did u do last night i wud tell her "i went out with such and such" and we did this and i wud say that and not go into detail and i would say yeah it was good. But i only told her because she asked. Everyone at school started to hate her and stuff becoz she used to slag every1 off behind there back apart from me of course coz she know's i wud say sumit to her .So people txt me and ring me wen i am in college to see if i want to go out or sumit thing and my friend would always go who it wat do they want blar blar.
What wrong with her ? and how do i make her stop talking about stuff i really cudn't care less about ? ( not trying to be horrible i have had enough its gone on for like 5 month)

Tell her you are glad she likes her job, but you really don't need a minute-by-minute list of everything that was done and said. 
She may be put off a bit-but it will be okay. If she is a true friend she will get over it-and maybe she'll learn not to ramble on.

thats not being a bad friend, you should tell her how u feel, she might get mad but tell her thats all she talks about and she repeats her self a lot and its time to talk about something new. i told my friend i was tired of listening to her talk about her boyfriend and now we dont talk but thats the price i had to pay to not listen to her talk about someone thats treats her and he has 5 other daughters by 4 different girls, so yea theres lots of drama!!!!

but tell her and yall can move on with ur friendship! i know it has to bug the hell out of you! and dont feel bad about hurting feelings, because if everyone was worried about there feelings getting hurt, this world would be a real big pus$y!

if you don't care to hear about your best friend's experiences, maybe she isn't your best friend after all..  what would you rather she talk about?

now if you were just plain bored by her stories, then you would zone out while she was talking, and you wouldn't find her nearly as frustrating as you do... you don't feel neutral towards hearing about her other friends, you feel angry... why do you think that is? that's where the real answer lies..

I think your friend and you clash maybe time for new friends cause if you dont really got nothing to say to each other that you care about you may have grown apart. but you could just wait till maybe she says something that you do care about. what will you do I wonder?

Tell her your sorry, and your not trying to be rude, but you dont know her friends and when thats all she talks about it gets boring and you dont feel comfortably having a conversation about something you bearly know... 

or just walk away, she'll get it eventually.
