Didn't you know? That's what happens to us every month.

I will give an "oral presentation" during that lovely monthly visit. Just because I don't feel like getting down, doesn't mean my man shouldn't enjoy himself. Poll: Hotdogs disgust me, so neither.

  • Well, you know how friends can be, sometimes they overstay their welcome and they can be pretty nasty at times. Other times they're not so bad and you have a nice visit. But, I have to agree with your girl Ronnie and say you get worried and angry when they don't show up. Us women don't like being stood up! On the other hand, maybe we didn't want them in the first place and are happy they didn't show up. Depends on the situation, it's always bad when it comes around when you're planning on a vacation or a special night. If you don't have them any longer either you have a medical condition or you're old and have gone through menopause.

Speaking of which, ever notice most of us women have trouble with men!

    Hysterectomy

    Mensturation

    Menopause

Source(s): I don't know who came up with the idea of it being called a friend b/c friends don't treat you like that. LOL or the curse, the rag, or any other name for it along the years. Usually, just say "little visitor" lol

it's already been mentioned but it's a way of saying your monthly cycle, and if you have a question about it or something, but don't want to say it out loud just sub that in and your not actually saying it in front of guys and most guys don't wanna hear about that stuff so that's why.

It's just a nice way to call it your monthly cycle.

Who the bloody heck knows? (No pun intended, honestly).

I certainly don't call it that!

It it simply referred to as 'that time of the month', if I must refer to it at all. I suppose it makes an unpleasant necessity sound a little more... friendly ;-)

    Hahahaha.

    Thank you for the laugh.

    =P

The beautiful Ms. Ron-Johns is absolutely correct on this one.

I know the one time my "little friend" didn't make it's appearance another friend came through 9 months later. And boy was that friend painful.

    Mine *is* my friend.

It tells me I am not preggers, which at my age is good. And it gives me an excuse to be a wench, with no questions asked, and no explanations needed :)

(The rest of the time I have to make up reasons for why I am being a b****.)

because it is a like one of those opposite names. like when you call a big man tiny or a skinny man fatty

indeed. in this case you call a nightmare your "friend"

    Shark Week.

  • Well I say it sarcastically because its not my friend, but like ron-john's said, if it doesn't come we get worried.
