How do you report and UN ethical attorney, I want to ruin his reputation as he needs it, BTW is is in SC ?
I was part of a law suit due to a yacht explosion, the said attorney wrote a letter to the opposing council, that he was not representing me anymore, but opted to not advise or write to me that he could no more handle the case, I found that out months after his decision, but now have in my hands the letter that he wrote to the opposing council and would like to take further actions against him and his firm. Thanks in advance for any information. He does not need to be in business !!

The word is 'counsel'.
Why did he stop acting for you? That will be important. If it was because you told him fibs or something, then you might be on your own. It's not normal for lawyers to decide they can no longer act.
Contact the lawyer's firm and complain. Ask for an explanation as to why you didn't get a letter. If you're still not happy, contact the bar association or law society in the state. If you still want to take it further after talking to them, go and see another lawyer for advice. It's not true that lawyers won't sue each other, unless they are personal friends or something, in which case they will tell you why they can't and tell you to see someone else.
BTW it doesn't sound that bad... would you want your reputation and career ruined because you forgot to send a letter?

Look up SC law. Did you hire this douchebag? Did you give him any money? Did you sign a contract? (or whatever lawyers call it) Find out if the lawyer needs to notify you of his/her decision before informing the opposing team? Its really up to the state, and the way they run things down in the bible belt. Most likely you don't have a case, nor would another lawyer touch it. Most lawyers will cover their *** before doing something stupid. They went to school and know the laws, so, I would just forget about it and get another lawyer for your case.
They only thing you can do is spread some rumors and ruin the firms rep. If you're that pissed, do it. Screw them.
