Alcohol, ammonia, sulfur, copper?

What would happen if you combined all four of those?

    There are a boatload of "alcohols". The term "alcohol" refers to a class of organic compound. Lets assume ethanol, as a representative alcohol. Ammonia is a gas, but it is soluble in water, and maybe to a slight extent in alcohol. Sulfur and copper are both elements. Copper doesn't react with sulfur at room temperature, and neither reacts with alcohol or ammonia at room temperature. So the answer to your question is "at room temperature, pretty much, nothing will happen."

    "... precipitate CuS if you mixup, hardley (sic)". You can mix S and Cu at room temperature until the cows come home and nothing will happen. BUT if you heat a mixture of Cu and S you will get a reaction and form CuS. But it doesn't "precipitate". CuS is very stable and is not reduced by ethanol.

    You're missing the point, CuS will never form at room temperature, nor will it form in a mixture of ethanol and ammonia. Copper metal and sulfur react somewhere around 700-900 C. At that temperature the alcohol will be long since vaporized. There won't be anything for the CuS to "precipitate in".

    It's all about the physical states of these "reactant". The asker didn't bother to indicate the physical states, nor the temperature, so we must assume that they are at room temperature. At room temperature, Cu is a solid metal and copper is a solid. Mix the two and you will get a mixture of Cu and S. You won't get CuS until it is heated and the sulfur melts and vaporizes. Ethanol is a liquid and ammonia is a gas.

    The bottom line is that it makes no sense to say that CuS will precipitate since (a) it won't form at room temperature, or (b) if it did form at some elevated temperature, the other two would not be in the liquid phase.

    Absolutley nothing, but maybe can precipitate CuS if you mixup hardley

    you're right, but if CuS is stable, will fall in a mixture of liquid as etanhol or ammonia,because it's solid.

    RE: a thanks to sparkling quite some money at the same time? I artwork for a charity and we've gained quite some money collected from the bottom of a moat. The money are extremely dirty caked in airborne dirt and dust, duck mess and moss. Does all people comprehend of a fashion to sparkling all of them in a unmarried bypass, quite than cleansing them one by one?
