Does having bangs give you spots?

i have straight across bangs and no spots or anything on my forehead..... that would only happen if your hair hadnt been washed for weeks....

so dont worry bout it it'll be really cute, and the best part of having fringe is your hair isnt constantly falling into your face!

I used to have bangs back in my sophomore year of high school. My hair is thick so the top of my forehead would get gross and I would break out a lot on my forehead which was annoying. I have had many types of bangs before but the ones that go straight across not like a side swept bang are the ones that gave me the most problems, though everyone's different.

The reason why people tend to think having bangs gives you spots is because hair covering your forehead causes you face to produce more skin and is also absorbing the oil of your hair as well haven't explained it well sorry but if you wash you face every day then you should be able to avoid oil build up so no spots

i've never had a problem with getting acne because of my bangs, i had a roomie that did though. She was prone to acne though. and while she didn't wash her hair daily, it never appeared greasy. She would clip her bangs back to go to sleep at night and that helped a lot. as long as your hair is clean and you don't touch your bangs all the time adding oil to them, you shouldn't have a problem with getting acne on your forehead just because you have bangs.

I have bangs and my forhead does not have a single spot on it, so don't think you have to worry unless you have greasy hair at all:)

buuttt...your skin needs to breathe and if your hair covers it all the time its not guud ..

it shudnt matter tho
