How do you earn points on yahoo answers?

The only way to make points is:

Vote for a best answer 1 point.

I think that pretty much it I think the people with those high scores actually take the time to actually answer people's questions each day. I don't think there are any other ways to earn points besides getting best answer or just answering questions

You earn points by asking and answering questions. I am new to yahoo messenger too and I just asked that same question (lol) When you'r marked best answer you get "bonus points" Its ok I only have 67 points. Lol!

You can get points by choosing a best answer to your question as well. But generally, it's by being chosen as the best answer and by answering questions. Each day when you sign on to yahooanswers you get a point as well!

You could vote on undecided questions where you just choose a best answer and get a point every time you do that.

you look for questions that you can ask. then ask them . if yours was chosen as best answer you get then 10 points. if you chose a best answer in one of your questions you get 3 points and they get 10 points
